A celebrated spiritualist and author, his influence continues to resonate in the hearts of Krishna devotees all over the world even today....

The founder-acharya of ISKCON movement, Srila Prabhupada Ji, started this movement at his matured age. Born in 1896, he established ISKCON in New York in 1966. During his lifetime he contributed tremendously in spreading this culture, eternal message of humanity, which is the teachings of Bhagavad Gita, Srimad Bhagvad, teachings of Gaudiya vaishnava sampradaya. Srila Prabhupada Ji galvanized in removing the vices. Just imagine within a short span of time, today, I am told, that ISKCON movement runs more than 600 temples around the world. Every day in India it provides healthy food to 10 million children and the message of love and compassion which is in inherent in Indian civilization.”

For fifty years since its foundation by A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, the men and women behind ISKCON have dedicated their lives to the words of Lord Krishna to achieve peace and unity. ISKCON can be proud that in that time it has grown the world over, setting up over 500 centres and 50 schools.
